Will Batista Retire from WWE Without Facing Brock Lesnar?

Batista has stated in interviews before that he would like to work on a storyline with Brock Lesnar in WWE. When Lesnar defeated John Cena at SummerSlam 2014 to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Batista posted a photo of his match against Lesnar in their OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) days. Batista also wrote:

Ever since the huge success of Batista's "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie, he has been elevated in the Hollywood world and already obtained another role for an upcoming movie starring Robert DeNiro. If the animal continues to be busy with movies, he may not be able to return to WWE soon. It will also be difficult to make time for WWE.

However, Batista could try to do what Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson did and work as a part-timer in high-profile feuds. If the Rock could feud with CM Punk and John Cena, then Batista may be able to feud with Brock Lesnar in a similar manner...unless WWE doesn't think a Batista/Lesnar feud would be worth much money these days now that Batista is no longer his gigantic self. That is not to say Batista cannot bulk up again like he did for the "Drax the Destroyer" character for "Guardians of the Galaxy." I say bring on Batista vs Brock Lesnar. Better late than never!
