Instead, Big E actually won the match despite Jack Swagger taking advantage of the distraction by Lana. While Big E was laying on the ground after the cheap shot by Swagger, Zeb Colter approached Lana and told her to go away because they don't need her there. After Swagger looked on to his manager Zeb and nodded, Big E capitalized on the distracted Swagger and defeated him in the ring. The tables were turned on Swagger. This goes against the typical formula for setting up a feud.
Who is Lana and Rusev targeting? Big E or Jack Swagger or both? Recently, Zeb and Lana have been arguing with each other back and forth on Twitter. Zeb even blasted her and Rusev as well as Big E on the mic. All three parties obviously see each other as enemies.
On the June 20, 2014 episode of Smackdown, Swagger would lose to Big E once again after Zeb claimed that he took advantage of Lana's interruption. This is hypocritical because Swagger himself also took advantage of the same thing.
On the June 23, 2014 episode of WWE RAW, Big E won his match against the "Abraham Lincoln" lookalike Damien Sandow and was attacked by Rusev thereafter.
This could lead up to a triple threat match between Big E, Jack Swagger, and Alexander Rusev in the coming weeks. For now, it looks like only Big E and Rusev are feuding since Swagger is busy with the Money in the Bank 2014 ladder match for the briefcase containing a contract for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
