WWE RAW 6/4/12 - John Cena vs Michael Cole (No DQ Match) Review

STIPULATION
Before John Cena could have a match with Michael Cole, Mr. Laurinaitis said Cena has to win a match against Lord Tensai first.

JOHN CENA vs. LORD TENSAI
The Cena vs. Tensai match was disappointing. Tensai dominated Cena the entire time with Cena countering a few times only to be dominated again. Towards the end, Cena suddenly unleashed his Super Powers when Tensai tried to jump on him but missed as Cena rolled out of the way. Queue Cena's usual finishing moves, 5 knuckle shuffle, Attitude Adjustment, and Cena wins.

CENA SHOULD IMPROVE IN-RING
This happens in many, many of Cena's matches. To make Cena's matches better, WWE should have him and his opponent going at each other back and forth equally 50/50. Instead, we usually get Cena being dominated by his opponent 90% of the time and all the sudden Cena wins at the end. In order for Cena's wrestling performance to improve, he needs to do more during the match than just wait until the end to unleash his usual moves to win the match.

Now, moving on to the Cena vs. Michael Cole match...

JOHN CENA vs. MICHAEL COLE
It was pretty funny seeing Cena humuliate Cole: making him apologize to King and J.R., pouring J.R.'s bbq sauce on him, and spraying him with a fire extinguisher. Then, Tensai interferred. But Cena quickly countered Cole and won the match.

NO CENA vs. BIG SHOW SEGMENT?
I think this match (John Cena vs. Michael Cole) should have taken place another time, a few weeks or months later. What should have happened on tonight's RAW is something to help build up the Cena vs. Big Show match at No Way Out. If Big Show really wasn't on RAW, then the least WWE could do was show footage of Big Show brutally assaulting wrestlers backstage or outside the building. Cena would not be able to run to the area and save them in time because Big Show gets away.

NEXT WEEK'S EXPECTATION
I was really hoping for something interesting to add more heat to the feud. The PG era has much more potential. Last year, we saw Kevin Nash beating up Triple H with a sledgehammer! Just do something similar with Big Show and Cena! We still have one week left before No Way Out 2012. Hopefully next Monday Night RAW, we will get to see a nice brawl between Cena and Big Show that will close the show on a high note.
