WWE - Alex Riley Should Get Revenge on Big Show

On the May 28th episode of Monday Night RAW,  Alex Riley was seen backstage smooth-talking Eve... that is, until the Big Show slammed him into a nearby wall.

Many fans were excited to have him back on TV after not seeing him for quite some time.

However, it looks like the WWE is only using Riley as a human punching bag nowadays and this segment certainly shows it.

Surprisingly, this actually got Alex Riley trending worldwide on Twitter as lots of fans tweeted about him.
Go #AlexRiley!

Ever since he attacked his heel mentor, the Miz, and became face, he has become a fan-favorite. The feud has given him tons of positive reaction and should have catapulted him to the top of the company, but WWE quickly pulled the plug on him. Why?

I mean, this guy has the strength, charisma, mic skills, and persona to be one of the top faces in the company alongside the likes of John Cena. The problem could be his decent but sometimes sloppy in-ring performance... which is why many fans assumed that Riley was relegated to jobber status in order for him to improve his wrestling skills.

It is rumored that WWE was worried that the Miz could have gotten injured by Riley's sloppy performance, so they decided not to risk any future injuries and aborted Riley's big push.

However, it's been over one year now and after a losing streak of 14 matches, I think it's time for Alex Riley to rise to the top once again. After being attacked by the Big Show, the guy should seek revenge. The next time Big Show goes after John Cena and has the upper hand, Riley should attack Big Show to get some payback.

WWE's habit of inserting Cena into the main event almost every week and every Pay Per View is very stale. Why not mix it up and add Riley to the storyline?

After No Way Out 2012, he could feud with the Big Show on his own without Cena in the picture, thus giving Riley a chance to shine once again like he did against the Miz. To make this worthwhile, there should be one of those long brawls between the two that starts in the ring, outside the ring, into the crowd, backstage, and outside the building. If done correctly, this feud could definitely get Riley over and one step further in his long journey to hopefully become a United States champion and then WWE or World Heavyweight champion.
