It has been reported by Indiewire that WWE wrestler David Otunga has been cast in "The Hive," starring well-known actress Halle Berry and co-starring Abigail Breslin. The thriller film is also being directed by Brad Anderson, best known for directing "The Machinist" (2004) starring Christian Bale. The project will be produced and co-financed by WWE studios and Troika Pictures. News of Otunga's casting was released by his wife Jennifer Hudson on her Twitter page. |  |

Here is the synopsis:
A 911 emergency operator (Berry) must confront a killer in order to save a young abducted girl (Breslin).
Filming is scheduled to begin this week and the movie is expected to be released some time in 2013.
-I sure hope Mr. Otunga gets to be the killer. I am eager to see how he plays the character and convince everyone that he is not just some guy from pro wrestling. But then again, he could be also be the husband of Halle Berry's character. We shall see...I can't wait!
