Was Seth Rollins Undercover? Was He Always Working For Triple H?

On the June 6th, 2014 episode of Friday Night Smackdown, the Shield traitor Seth Rollins was seen walking with his former enemy Triple H. Randy Orton met up with them and told Seth, "You made the right choice. Welcome to the dark side." Seth replied, "Hey, I never left." All three men laughed and smiled as they continued walking.

If Seth Rollins never left the dark side, then maybe he has been working for Triple H all along? Perhaps he has been working undercover and never truly thought of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns as his friends, family, or brothers.

In the beginning of the Shield's feud with the Wyatt Family, Triple H told Shield to stand down. Instead, they went against him (Seth Rollins was probably just playing along). Roman Reigns got in Triple H's face and stared into his eyes to show that he didn't care. They wanted the Wyatts and Triple H couldn't tell them otherwise.

Maybe Triple H told Seth to stay undercover and side with his team members until he says so. He must have promised Seth big opportunities ever since Seth won the NXT championship a few years ago. He was and still is the cerebral assassin's new golden boy of this era.

Once the Shield turned face, Triple H milked them out by having them fight all the heels and then Evolution so that they could make history...as well as big money for WWE before telling Seth to end it all. The boss obviously didn't like Ambrose or Reigns for being against the Authority and couldn't get them on his side. Meanwhile, the architect Seth was always on the Authority's side. Nobody else knew it...except maybe Randy Orton.

After the Shield got their 2nd win against Evolution, there was no more history or money to be made for the company. Therefore, Triple H thought it was time to elevate Seth Rollins by having him end the Shield. He didn't need Ambrose or Reigns anymore. The Shield reached their potential. Obviously, Rollins was not affected emotionally by the break-up since he showed no remorse while beating his friends with a chair. He tricked them the entire time and they trusted him.

Seth Rollins is selfish and only cares about himself. The same goes for heel Triple H and heel Randy Orton...even heel Batista. The new Evolution will eventually crumble as the members are not truly brothers. They are in it for themselves and only need each other to get things done so that they can continue to be selfish. That's the difference between them and the Shield in this storyline. Rollin is not a true brother, but if he was, then the Shield would still be intact today.
